Professor Bayyinah Bello is a Vodouvi, Afrodescendant Ourstorian, Educator, Writer and Humanitarian. With over 50 years of wisdom and extensive research, Professor Bello specializes in Ayitian Ourstory, education, and linguistics. She is the founder and the International Responsible of Fondation Marie-Claire Heureuse Félicité Bonheur Dessalines, popularly known as FONDASYON FELICITEE (FF), and author of Sheroes of the Haitian Revolution.

Her contributions as a lecturer in the subjects of linguistics, self-development, African and Ayitian Ourstory, anthropology, and more, Professor Bello offers a holistic approach to understanding human essence beginning with knowledge of self. She is one of Ayiti’s pre-eminent anthropologists and an advocate for human rights and dignity for the Ayitian people. She has presented at conferences in Africa, The Americas, Asia, and Europe.

Professor Bello founded Fondation Marie Claire Heureuse Félicité Bonheur Dessalines, commonly known as FONDASYON FELICITEE (FF) two decades ago with a mission to promote historical research and cultural identity building. The foundation is named in honor of Marie Claire Heureuse Félicité Bonheur Dessalines, the first Empress of Hayti, the Empire of Freedom, and the spouse of the revolutionary leader, General Jean Jacques Dessalines. The annual Freedom Soup campaign is one of the foundation's signature programs promoting health, education, and justice.
